Befooled
Welcome to Befooled, the match-three game where you choose the three!
This game has ten levels in which the goal is to get rid of all gems on the board by controlling what gem combinations will be cleared. This game can be played with just the mouse, and is also playable on mobile.
This is a submission for the GMTK Game Jam 2023 ("Roles Reversed"). Font is Alagard by Hewett Tsoi. Made using Auroriax's Puzzlescript Plus, a fork of Increpare's Puzzlescript that includes features from ThatScar, Marcosdon, Dario Zubovic, and Jack Lance.

Deceptively simple puzzle design with unique controls and a friendly retro style. Feels like an instant classic!
Learning how to operate the board was satisfying, getting better at reading and planning the patterns felt awesome, and the level variation was beautiful! Gemuinely exceptional!
